As is pretty well established, I've been a Linux user for a while now and I've come to expect certain things of which one is whilst most things work, somethings can be a right pain in the derriere. Wireless networking has often been cited as a prime example of such headache inducing problems. ...(cont)

Dinner at The Honey Pot / Computer Works

Tags: Computers, It's My Life

Been quite a quiet week this week. Yesterday, Kate and myself went to 'The Honey Pot' at the Festival Leisure Park, Basildon. I'm not a fan of Basildon. Too many roundabouts, poor road signs and plenty of 'Boy Racer' vehicles speeding around.

Main course consisted of a nice double bacon & cheese burger with chips and more onion rings (yum!). Bit too much for me though plus the burger tasted a bit charred.
Overall, it was a reasonable dinner but nothing special. No better than a Wetherspoons - in fact Wetherspoons may be slightly better. But it was a nice evening out - noisy cars aside. ...(cont)
