Ben Gamblin Online - Blog: V 2004 / Second Hand Purchases |
V 2004 / Second Hand Purchases22 Aug '04, 00:00Just coming to the end of the V Festival weekend.Unfortunately I didn't go. Wasn't that bothered about it until I started seeing bus loads of people heading down to Hylands Park and watching some performances on Channel 4 last night. So now I'm a little annoyed I didn't get tickets, so maybe next year. Not a complete loss though. Been listening on Virgin Radio who have been broadcasting from the site over the weekend. I can also just hear it from my room (although it's just a distant bass rumble! most of the time!). Just for fun, here is an idea of what I can hear. (MP3 ID3 Tag Comments give details on the recording.) Other than that, I headed off to the Boreham Boot Fair again this morning at about 8:30am. Bought 4 CDs including Now 33 to add to my little collection, and this evening I bought myself a Commodore 64 from eBay for only £20.50 including postage. Had one of these years ago when they were still being made. Classic games can be quite fun and I'm thinking of starting a little collection. Only 11 1/2 hours 'til work tomorrow. I've decided weekends are much too short.
