It's quite hard work this PHP stuff. Not only have I been learning that, but also MySQL and as such, the blog has had a complete overhaul even since a few days ago when I said I was implementing PHP into the blog so that all necessary changes where made for me.

Now I've implemented a MySQL database, there are no changes to be made. For example, on the front page of Ben Gamblin Online, the PHP script simple queries the database for the latest entry and displays it. This makes life so much easier and means I can reliably create entries from anywhere with an internet connection.

There's plenty still to do however as I've taken all files offline. They will be put back in using an upload script which will put the file into the appropriate folder and log it's details in another MySQL database. That will probably take some time as there are literally hundreds of photographs to sort out.

I reckon it'll probably take another week or two until all the scripts are 100% working and in place based on the 3 days it's taken me to get this blog working correctly.
